The Need for Pharmacy
A great majority of Pharmacy Institutions are located in urban and sub-urban regions only and very few are established in rural areas. The location of the college is quite significant since it falls in the rural (near Janagaon) in the economically and educationally backward district (Warangal) in this Telangana Region of Andhra Pradesh State.

With an enormous increase in population, and with more diversified ailments and diseases there is an increased need for more drugs, their supply and proper utilization. To cope-up with this more and more qualified Pharmacists are required.

Pharmacists are taking on roles in direct patient care, most often in the combination with the dispensing process, in order to contribute to the judicious and cost-effective use of medicaments.

Pharmaceutical care practice, Drug use review, Drug use management, Disease Management, Drug Discovery, Drug Development, Clinical Trials. Drug approval, Drug manufacturing, Drug marketing, Drug metabolism, Drug law, Public policy and outcomes evaluation, to mention just a few thrusts.
The Future of Pharmacists-Their Career Pathways
Never before in the history of pharmacy profession have pharmacists enjoyed as broad an array of career opportunities as they do in the opening of decade of 21st century. The reasons for this opportunistic situation have to do with the supply and demand, but also with the profession’s own battle. Still vigorously under-way more than a decade after Helper and Strand defined pharmaceutical care to redefine pharmacists’ role in the health care system.

The number of prescriptions dispensed in any given country including India increased voluminously from 1992 to 2002, as per the statistics of surveys conducted. As the demand for prescription of drugs has increased, so, too has the demand for pharmacists.

To help the students in successfully coming out of religion, caste and creed in forging unity with a strong national out look.
To make education more meaningful and useful to individuals and the Society.
It has the blue print of activities to gain confidence to accept any professional and social challenges
It has determined to make them fit to be the good “problem shooters” with an high success rate so that any employer would love to recruit our students.
It will not compromise on the quality and standard, in any aspect.
The society has ventured to make available the much sought  “Pharmacy Education” in this poor, backward, rural area to cater to the need of the students hither to deprived.
It has determined to expose its staff and students to some of the luminaries in Pharmacy to shape their destiny.
It has plans and proposals to develop as the “Centre for Advanced  Studies in Pharmacy”.
It has proposal to create the centre for research and development.
How the Society wants to Achieve the goal
We want to achieve our goals by providing rich infrastructural facilities and also creating better atmosphere for teaching, learning research, consultancy and extension activities.

Presently the professional institutions are training the students according to the prescribed syllabus. This practice generally resulting in inadequately trained technical /professional gradates who do not exactly suite to the requirements. Thus, this Society has all the plans to ensure the all round development of its students reaching beyond the just academic curriculum. The requirements of the Pharmaceutical Industry are altogether changed after implementing the Intellectual property Rights. Thus it becomes the responsibility of pharmacy institutions to train its students, perfectly well to make them more competent.

Therefore, we want to train the students to meet the industrial requirements to get placement in good Pharmaceutical Industries. For this purpose we will create a placement cell in our college to interact with industry and to invite the industry people for campus recruitment. We want to give the Research orientation by encouraging the students to take up minor study projects during the under graduate program itself. Since the Society consists of good, qualified Medical Professionals it will also train the students very well to suite to the needs of Hospital and Health care system.

We are going to start Research Program for the faculty members so that they will be fully equipped with current and advanced knowledge which helps in enriching the students knowledge.
